Podcasting Greenhouse
Create, improve, share
Our next Podcasting Greenhouse starts June 2025
There's no shortage of Podcasts available to listen to, topics, creators, or content that can be enjoyed. And yet how many evangelistic podcasts are available to recommend to friends when they want to know more about Jesus?
How does it work?
Through the Greenhouse we want to equip women to give podcasting a go. Whether you've created your first series or haven't even started you are really welcome. We want to empower women to use their voices and the unique medium of podcasting to share the good news of Jesus.
The Greenhouse runs for four weeks. This will include; 2 meetings online and practical work. By the end you will have produced a section of a Podcast and will be equipped to go and make your own Podcast series.
Cost: £15 (if costs are prohibitve, please get in touch)
Location: On Zoom
Why Podcasting?
The success of podcasting is down to many factors.
Tailored listening
Ease of access can fit even into the busiest of schedules
They're free!
But what really stands out is that podcasting conversational feel is more intimate than watching TV or listening to the radio , and it connects you to a community of like minded people .
These two factors offer an incredible space for the good news of Jesus to be shared.
Get in touch to ask questions or book your place by June 9th (costs £15)
“I would really recommend The Greenhouse to others! I found when I came to deliver my talk I was much more calm and I felt I knew the material really well. I don’t think this was due to the amount of time I took to write it. I think it was the discussion and thinking and prayer around it, that made my talk something I delighted in, as well as a message to share with others.”— A Passion for Life Easter Greenhouse
What People Are Saying about The Greenhouse…
“In a greenhouse, plants that need a bit of extra warmth can flourish and grow; seeds can germinate, and tender shoots can grow sturdier. This is what the Greenhouse Project aims to do with the ability and confidence of women who may never have had the chance to develop these areas before. The church and student movements will have more vibrant, creative, Christ-glorifying evangelists who have a message to tell and can tell it well. They will also have new ways of telling it.”— IFES Europe
“It takes courage to speak of Jesus in a world where Christ crucified is seen as a stumbling block and foolishness. Therefore, it’s so important to create safe spaces where we can support one another as we do this. In essence, this is what the Greenhouse is all about.”
— Elaine MacDonald, Life in the Greenhouse
“It was both an inspiration and an impetus to try something new. The practical support and encouragement was also really valuable – thank you.” Susie
